Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-09-10
1. Who you are contracting with
These terms are a contract between you and MediGuide, trading as MEDIGUIDE, the publisher of the digital medical education guides, flashcards and study tools offered on this website (the “Service”).
2. Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing a guide or continuing to use the Service you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an institution you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you use it as an individual you confirm you are of legal age in your country.
3. What you receive
A purchase grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to read the purchased guide in the online reader and to download it as a PDF for your own study and professional development. Access is tied to your account.
4. Educational purpose only
All content is educational material for study and exam preparation. It is not medical advice and must not be used as the sole basis for diagnosis, treatment or dosing. Always follow local protocols and current guidelines and verify with a licensed clinician. Content may contain errors and may become outdated.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; infringe intellectual property; or interfere with security (malware, probing, bypassing access controls, automated scraping).
You must not resell, redistribute, publish, share account credentials for, or circumvent technical limits on the guides, and you must not reverse engineer the Service. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
6. Intellectual property
MediGuide retains all rights in the Service and its content, including text, illustrations, figures, software, design and branding. No ownership is transferred by a purchase. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it; repeat infringers lose access.
7. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, updates and factors outside our reasonable control may cause interruptions.
8. Payment, billing and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing, applicable taxes, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. All purchases on this site are one-time purchases; there are no subscriptions. Prices are shown before you confirm the order.
Refunds are described in our Refund Policy.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or chargeback, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination your right to use the Service ends; you may keep PDFs already downloaded for personal study, and you can request an export or deletion of your account data.
10. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You indemnify us against claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these terms.
11. Changes, assignment and law
We may update these terms; the version published here applies. You may not assign this contract without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the law of our place of establishment, and disputes are subject to the courts there, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
